BSI have released a PDF with a list of some of the main changes to BS 7671 that will be incorporated into the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations. The list is not exhaustive but provides a clear picture that the much discussed Introduction of Part 8 - Energy Efficiency, as seen in the Draft for Public Comment, will not be making the final book.

Energy efficiency will however be included in a New Appendix 17. Much of this appendix will not apply to domestic and similar installations.

The changes to Section 534 and 443 have made it through to the final document and we will be including these in our 18th Edition On-Line Courses as well as some even more detailed content as part of our Electrical Content on LearningLounge.com.
