“After a full-service career in the RAF, I realised I wanted to teach others, so I started providing technical training, and have been doing so for the past 20 years. When the 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations were launched, I chose to study via an online course with Learning Lounge because of its interactive nature. My background in the RAF means that I might not have had some of the direct experience today’s electricians might need, so it was important for me to be able to see the practical application of the regulatory changes. I definitely feel I made the right course decision. I passed the 18th Edition exam with over 90%. This was remarkable because I had not viewed the Wiring Regulations for the past 40 years!  Those who know the subject would agree that the Regs book is enormous, not easy to navigate and certainly not easy to understand.
